Various routes with distances are listed above. Loco reversals in routes 1 and 6 (YPR) and 5 (PAK).
Route as per 1 is shortest, but goes via YPR-GTL congested stretch.
Route 2 SA-KJM-GTL-GR route you have 4 days/ week train from KRR.
Route 5 is out of the box thinking route, but still 55 kms less than present route via MS and almost equal to regular/ popular RU route.
I would prefer daily TPJ-PUNE train with Route 5 for 3 days/ week, Route 1 for 2 days/ week and Route 7 for 2 days / week.
