Good evening ladies and gentlemen . This is PKV reporting live from on board 12313 Sealdah New Delhi Rajdhani Express .Undertaking one of the shortest journies possible in IR's most prestigious class of trains . A travel spanning a mere 146 mns for a distance of 210 kms from Sealdah to Asansol . The train departed dot on time and we were welcomed with a namaste along with nimbu paani . The allotted pantry staff kindly enquired of me as to what I prefer for dinner.A case of being pampered and spoilt for choice : Veg , Non-veg , Veg continental or Non-veg continental . I had to gently tell him that I would disembark at Asansol , well before service of dinner post- Dhanbad. BTW I am traveling in 3AC coz this train does not demean itself by hauling sleeper coaches.

refreshments comprising a samosa , a sandwich and a soanpapri followed by coffee have been served . I shall now engage myself with a Sidney Sheldon thriller . Meanwhile the Rajdhani is moving at breakneck speed towards Durgapur its first halt ETA 1850 .
