brothers i wanted to know whether i can get any seat in current booking from ahmedabad to mumbai on 14 march 2015. I cant book tatkal as i dont know whether i have to travel on 14 or not,as it depends on my wriiten exam result need help from frequent experienced travellers on the adi bdts route.

i know bro but a frequent traveller who has travelled many times on this route can atleast give some guess or probability .
March 14 being a Friday, I feel most of the trains would be full. Why don't you book a ticket now, even if it is in WL? If you can't travel, you can cancel that. Though you would lose the cancelation charge, it would save you tension at the last moment, right?
Seats in double decker are always available for current reservation. I frequently travel in this route and came by karnavati exp today morning. I booked in ac chair car yesterday afternoon it was GNWL 24,25 and got confirmed by evening.
