Hi Guys,
I have one travel question. I need to travel to Bidar from Pune on 3rd May by AC 3 tier. I don't want to travel by bus. I think I have the following two options to travel:
1) Pune to Parli Vaijanath in 11405 and Parli Vaijanath to Bidar in 16593. Will they allow this type of reservation as it does not fit some distance criteria set by IR for chain trains?
2)
...
Pune to Parli Vaijanath in 11405 and open ticket from Parli Vaijanath to Bidar so that I can use 16593. Will IR allow me to do this type of reservation? If yes will on board TTE create problem for me?
Please help as I need to book the tickets in advance as its summer season and AC tickets will not be easily available.

Coming to GR in the month of May I won't prefer due to extreme heat conditions. The climate of BIDR is far better than the dry weather of GR. :)

As far as I know, your route should be within 115% of the normal route or shorter route. Means, if the direct route or normal route is of 100 kms, the route you are suggesting should not be more than 115 kms. Then you can book tkts at manual booking counters.
