We are planning a trip from Mumbai Borivali (BVI) to Valsad (BL).
Train we picked is Paschim Express (12925) - 2hr 30min route.
We do not have reserved tickets - as its just small distance.

I think you can take the BDTS-ST Intercity Express. It has 8 General coaches and 1 Ladies coach. If possible catch from BDTS. So that you can get seats well in advance if you arrive some 1 hour prior to the train departure. This train also takes same time 2hrs and 29 mins to Valsad from BVI.
insist of paschim express should try to karnavti easilly got tatkal ticket 2S 2marow
better to book 2s tatkal in karnawati exp

yes, paschim has distance restriction, so he needs to buy ticket for BRC
