Salem-Baiyyappanahalli-Yelahanka towards north
I see no trains take Salem-Hosur-Baiyyappanahalli and proceed northwards through Yelahanka and beyond. Is there any reason? All the north bound trains passing through Bangalore take KJM Yelahanka route.

The route you mentioned Salem-hosur-baiyyappanahalli doesn't connect to yelahanka route.If needed a train has to undergo reversal at bbaiyyappanahalli to join yelahanka route
