#Doubling Pune - Solapur - Gulbarga
RVNL has cancelled tender of doubling as the estimated completion time of 3 yrs is completed and the private companies are not able to do even 10% of work.
Finally senior officers decided to cancel tender and they will give it new companies.
Hope IR will complete it asap.

IR has to ban this company , Management of company and recover the added cost of project form this company.
rather than pointing fingers at private companies its RVNLs responsibility to complete in time bound manner I guess if funds were sanctioned then any company may do work quickly... were RVNL guys sleeping all these years ? Anyways this is major set back for Pune-Solapur-Gulbarga people and the crossings and scissors crossings will continue as it will take another decade to issue tender and finish work... or is there something else in mind ??
They are saying, it will take another six months to publish new tender and approve it. After monsoon doubling work will resume.

Very very sad news to hear. SBC/MAS/HYB to CSTM doubling cum electrification should be personally monitored by RM to ensure quick completion. It's ridiculous that the project has taken ages and only 10% work completed.
