Sorry about the delayed update on the journey yesterday with the 2027 Shatabdi....
The train was fitted with a LGD WAP-7 30261.. Happy its getting a WAP-7 finally on a regular basis.. To start with i was greeted by the same old ICF coaches which looks horrible from outside with cracks , dust ... my seat was in C1 coach.. the first surprise was the food tray.. It was so slanting that it cannot be used for placing the food served.... The train left MAS on time.. from PF2A (admin pls update this is the regular departure). Snacks were served immediately.. Sandwich(Butter and Carrot), Hard Rock Samosa and a sweet (couldnt realise what it was my ignorance not irctc mistake). Followed...

by coffee (same Rs5 Rly coffee). Reached AJJ perfectly ontime and with a 19 minute delay at KPD.Tomato Soup was served with Amul Butter and 2 Soup Sticks , Satlt & Pepper. looks like it was good saw a few fellow passenger enjoing.. The train crossed JTJ 45 mins behind schedule.... Dinner time.. Menu (2 Chappattis , Avial , Dal , Jeera Rice , Curd , Sabji , Salad , pickle...) Very average food and was eatable.. but due to the slanting tray i had to perform some gymnatic balancing to eat my dinner. .. Then comes the best part.. Amul Ice Cream Royal Vannilla flavour.. Trains Crossed BWT at 9.50 pm with almost maintaining the same delay.. The WAP 7 picked up real pace and reached BNC at 10.28... Finall Reached SBC at 10.40 .. with a 10 min delay...
To tell about the whole journey : Not so pleasing.. The train did hot 120's but coaches did not really match well with the WAP-7 as there was too much shaking..
Finally food.. Poor on the whole.. Its high time this gets an LHB.. Being now with SWR i dont think it will get. though i heard it is soon getting one...
