Worst train ever!!!
Traveled yesterday (22/6/15) from TRTR to TRVL. Train reached TRTR @ 9:21 (late by 43 mnts) and waited till 9:39 (1hr delay) for garib rath to overtake. Reached PVRD @ 10:06 (1hr 07 mnts delay and waited for almost 45 mnts there for first jan shatabdi to overtake and then waited till parashuram for the crossing. The passengers were so lucky that Kerala SF was late by over 2 hrs or else it would also have overtaken this passenger. it left PVRD @ 10:45 with 1hr 45 mnts delay and reached TRVL @ 12:26 ie 2 hrs 26 mnts late. CSTM CAPE express was running late by 5+ hrs and was just behind the passenger and i dont know

if it was overtaken by cape exp somewhere after TRVL. It is always better to avoid this train if u r travelling for some emergency . our railway division is providing pathetic treatment for this train. Too bad....There was one passenger near me who took the train from aluva. He had a sleeper ticket with him and since this train reached aluva before 1 hr late running Island, he decided to get into this train. He said jan shatabdi was the 4th train to overtake this from aluva to piravom (Island garib rath janshatabdi and dont know the 4th one) .

Nobody expects super priority to passenger trains...its not a matter of priority. If people who control and decide such matters do it a bit more logically big delays like this could be avoided irrespective of divisions. This is the thought of a common who is made to wait for hours for all the express trains to overtake. i am not arguing i am correct and i apologize if anybody has felt bad but i have seen the same people making high priority trains like TVC Mail, KCVL LTT GR Kerala SF etc wait for MEMU and other passenger trains for crossings in this single line section. So i feel this is pure mismanagement from the part of the authorities. waiting for around 45 minutes at a station to get overtaken? This 45 minutes would take this train past 5 stations atleast. The delay gets doubled. I am sorry that I dont...

find any good logic for this. Could be i am wrong but i dont know....
The funniest part is that when i travel by passenger i will be made to wait for express trains and when i travel by express trains, again i will be made to wait...for passenger trains.. :D :D

Its all about priority set. Passenger always have less priority. So if any express train running before it get delayed, it will affect Passeneger badly

Every body knows Trains like TVC mail & other SF are getting more priority than a Passenger train in this route. But your statement is 100% correct. If 56365 reached TRTR at 9.21 am and waited for Garib rath for 18mts that means this overtaking should have been made either in Mulanturutti or in Piravam road which can be easily access within 15mts for this train, also double line for traffic. Same story for 12081. Instead of wasting 45 mts at Piravam road, after Parasu reached another overtaking can be made at VARD, KRPP or ETM. These all about the people who controls the traffic. Ultimately nobody wants to give priority to a Passenger Train all over...
