To provide a fresh, PoHed loco from ED shed which takes the train all the way to NDLS & brings it back to ERS.
Loco of Kerala express follows a pattern.
From ED, fresh loco will be given to 12625, which runs till Delhi, and comes back to ERS with 12626. The smae loco then take charge of 12625 from ERS till ED.
This is because, the loco would have reached its maintance km limit by the time it reaches ED.
