Disaster averted!!!
Today 27-07 on Bihar Bandh I decided to go to Jamui stn for rf.I had plans to spot poorva.I reached stn cycling for 8 kms at 01:00 pm and heard announcement of 13331 up DHN PNBE ICEon pf 01.I moved at the front end of pf then i saw Wap 4 raising huge dust storm and entering loop which was a unusual thing.The train stopped and i took a snap.It was with MGS WAP 4-22816.Train got stater and as soon as it started moving i heard a loud noise comming from loco.I saw a big heavy metal sheet was stuck in rear cowcatcher.I ran to engine and banged on the closed door.Lp stopped the train.I told them about the problem...

and they went to check i also followed.I and both the lp and porter tried to take that out but failed on other hand guard was yelling on walky talky to proceed.The lp moved the engine back and forth and we somehow got rid of metal piece.Then lp told me that this sheet was lying on a bridge and maybe a moron would have kept it.Few on-board pax of slr told that stones were flying here and there and few people walking trackside were hit as the metal was dragged on the ballast.I saw that sand pipe was chopped off.Lps thanked me and proceeded.On this Bihar Band my trip to stn paid off.
