In the howrah kerala sector, the bulk of passengers are mostly migrant workers who prefer general coaches and sleeper. This can be easily seen in the current running shalimar tvc and shalimar nagercoil trains. Of course there are other passengers too probably people who visit vellore for treatment etc but on the lesser side.
