Good if CCT gets 3 rd pit line.
As per my knowledge if properly managed one pit line can undergo min 3 rakes a day(Round the clock) provied sufficient parking space and pit line staff running round the clock.
As CCT has 2 pitlines daily it can maintain 6 rakes daily
only 2 trains get maintained daily one is goutami and another is seshadri
...
and Cocanada which is tri weekly
CCT-BVC and CCT-SNSI gets maintained at night 2 rakes(4 days) and CCT-LTT one rake (2 days)
Remaining are passenger trains VSKP-CCT-BZA and CCT-Tpty pass
Parking lane need not be behind CCT,if we see SC/KCG Falaknuma and narayanadri are taken for 33kms and goutami for 23kms and HYB-KOP for 40kms and cocanada for 40kms.
All the above trains i mentioned were having secondary maintenance only....just highlighted to show how village stations used as parking lanes.
KCG has 2 pitlines but they are operating 5 daily night bund trains like Venkatadri,SBC SF,prasanti nilayam,Egmore exp and Delta pass.
CCT base can run more trains if properly planned
