I am shocked to hear that this Shatabdi was introduced in 1994.
How come railways thought to start such a service to a smaller Dehradun(Uttar Pradesh city in 1994).
Also, if anyone has any details about the train TT back then in 1994?

I did not say "Only state capital".. I said "State capital" justifies the need.. I think Pune and Mysore Shatabdis are new(Correct me if I am wrong here)
And even if they are old.. then you cannot compare Pune and Mysore to 1994's Dehradun
