Return journey ticket should be issued for the convenience of the passenger. Why IR not at all interested in augmenting patronage of passe.Some time for the passenger convenience they take return ticket and may return in bus.But IR get revenues. Before Budget so many inconvenient by the RAILWAYs.Whether these are approved by the honourable Railway Minister or by the Board itself.RM should be intervened in all these minor policy decision which are UN -friendly and shunt the passenger to other mode of journey. So much infrastructures development are in the anvil but the RAILWAY board does not bothered to increase the passengers. patronages
I should start write train name and DOJ on GS ticket which will give more transparency in system.
Also somehow IR has to prevent unreserved ticket holders from travelling in reserved coaches.
Will say that its a logical move...Short distance URS travellers might have brought ticket from A for journey between B to C and travelled in the same train tickrtless from A to B . May be that wud have come to the notice if officials who have decided to stop it once for all.
