You have alighted here and wish to travel onward to your city in Bus (always prefer trains instead of buses in U.P) , then i have suggestion for two locations:
1. For going to Kanpur , Allahabad ,Gorakhpur , Varanasi cities , go to Alambagh bus depot and there you will get a UPSRTC AC buses. All the AC buses start from here. Book ticket from counter and board the bus. But a slight suggestion for you, on weekends there is huge demands, so queue gets longer. For weekends journey kindly use the UPSRTC online booking facility (which maximum of the time never works;Typical Sarkari website).

For going to Bareilly, Moradabad , Shajahanpur , Pilibhit side go to Kaiserbagh bus depot and you will get bus very easily. The Delhi buses (Non AC type) also go from here only.
Best thing i love about UPSRTC Volvos is "FREE WIFI" which our railways also not provide.
