This is regarding query on break journey
I have a confirmed ticket in Train No. 16315 in 2-AC coach from SBC to KYJ (725 km). The train starts from SBC on December 1 at 17.00 hrs to reach KYJ at 07.00 hrs on December 2.
There is an intermediate station ERS, which the train will reach at 05.00 hrs on December 2. I wish to get down at ERS and board another daily train 16303 (starting at 05.30 hrs on December 2 from ERS) to reach a station called TRVL at 06.30

hrs on December 2.
Do I have to purchase additional ticket from ERS on December 2 (up to TRVL) in order to travel in Train No. 16303 or can I use the same ticket which I purchased for Train No. 16315?
Note:
1. 16303 also goes to KYJ but I am getting down at TRVL which is well before KYJ.
2. Distance between SBC and ERS is 625 km.
3. Distance between ERS and TRVL is 86 km.
4. Ticket is purchased for 725 km while I want to travel only 622+86=711 km.
Can I perform this break journey? Please suggest.

Once you de-board from the train on which you have reserved a ticket, the ticket is not valid on any other train as the reservation is valid only on that particular train. So in this case you need to buy a seperate ticket for the section you are travelling

I don't think so, you may need to buy an UR ticket from ERS to TRVL
