The views are counted as 1 view per IP Address per day. If you check your private posts from different devices, or if the ISP itself changes your IP Address as you move around, your number of views increase. So, ALL the views are your OWN or those of your pvt. recipients. Pl. rest assured, no one else is able to view your posts.
I use IRI only from my mobile, there was only one other recipient in my every private post, I don't think the other person uses IRI from 50 devices. Almost all of my private posts have 50+ views, there might be some bug.
Your ISP can dynamically assign different IP Addresses to the same device, whether you use it from one location or multiple. Also, as specified above, it is 1 view per ip PER DAY. It has already been 40 days since you posted it. If that blog is in a page that you are viewing then your view count will go up.
.
So, once again, "number of views" is NOT the "number of people" viewing that post. The same person viewing that post on different days also increases the view count.
