This is the first time I am ferrying drinking water. I felt a sense of sadness through the journey that it has come to this: a town needing water from a train.”
About the long journey, loco pilot DP Wakade said “I drove slow, knowing reaching the destination safely was important. We had arrived late in the night, but waited at a nearby junction, following the instructions of the local administration.”

The article gives the impression as though the LP drove all the way from Rajasthan. Perhaps the HINDU isnt aware of this concept of crew change in IR! :)
