Another WAP7 for HWH gone under IC'0' . 30455 went under IC'0' on 25th Apr 2016.
Well i don't know what is meaning of IC'0' but yes under IC'0' Following things are carried out:-
(1) Checking of Physical Wear and Tear Which can occur during transit
(2) Checking of Mechanical part/Electrical part

IC-0 is the inspection schedule to be carried out when a loco is newly commissioned into a loco shed.This schedule is also undertaken when a transferred loco is received from some other shed and also when a loco arrives off POH/MTR.
It is a detailed inspection to ensure that the loco is complete in all respects and no fittings are missing,all calibrations are in order.In addition,the loco shed may also make a few minor modifications as per the extant policies of the shed.For example,on WR,the sheds weld a folding "LV" plate on both ends.
