Already Ongole Municipal corp consists of 50Wards which included till throvagunta and pernamitta which are rural mandals and kothapatanam mandal is already part of ongole assembly constituency.
Already bypass lane construction is going on towards kothapatan vanpic side ...its not recomended to extend city limits to that long radius

Good that one more beach for tourists is coming up in our state... Apart from Vizag.. I do not see tourists coming to any other place in AP.. so..it is good to have such place in southern side of the state...
