pnr 625876849 train from vskp to tpty position for 20/06/2011 is rac11 rac12 in 2ac what is this rac and whether i get confirmation before departure
RAC stands for Reservation Against Cancellation. If any of the passengers fail to turn up, the vacant berth will be allotted to RAC passengers. You can board into the train and will get a seat. Meaning thereby that you will share a berth with another identical RAC passenger. As regards confirmation, since it is AC coach, you have a little chance of getting confirmed. Be thankful that you got RAC ticket.
