saranyavarier 1 blog postsI have travelled in 16346 Netravathy express from thrissur to thalassery last week. I was travelling with my family in sleeper class and pantry persons was supplying tea/coffee and other snacks items. My co passenger ordered for a tea and they charged Rs.7 for it. After some time I have ordered for 3 tea and the supplier demanded Rs.24 (ie, Rs.8 for 1 tea). Then I asked How it can be 24? Then he told me to give Rs.21. Why railway is not publishing food rates ? The suppliers are demanding whatever rates comes in his mind. They are actually looting the passengers. Is there any way to solve this issue?
Yes you can. They have fixed price, you can ask for the Price chart or, you can go to PC, and ask the manager to show price chart.
