Hi Experts,
I want to book tickets for 3 persons(including one infant) for 5-Sep-2016 for 18463 from EE-SBC in 2A. Yesterday(8th June)night I had booked tickets, but unfortunately even after giving berth preference as Lower and Upper(also selected book only if atleast 1 Lower berth is booked) I got Side Lower and Upper. Its difficult to sleep in Side Lower berth with an infant, so again tried booking by selecting both lower, but the transaction did not go through. Currently the availability shows Available 11, If I book through PRS Counter are there any chances of getting Lower Berth?
Thanks...

For better chances of getting a confirmed lower berth, you may either visit your nearest PRS Counter and request the booking clerk for the same, else you may try your luck again through IRCTC. But please note that there is no fool-proof way of getting a confirmed Lower Berth through IRCTC, other than selecting the option 'Book my ticket if at least one lower berth is allotted' and still there is a risk of getting allotted a side lower berth again. Also keep in mind that the charges for cancellation of confirmed...
