If your father is travelling from Ernakulam to Hyderabad, go ahead via Bangalore. Book for ERS to Bangalore for 14th night/evening and than bangalore to hyderabad for 15th Morning.
There is one train at around 11:00 AM on 15th from Bangalore to Hyderabad. But will reach hyderabad around midnight.
