after leaving Bhigwan the train was stopped at Bhalwani, a quaint little station :P, for a crossing with Pune bound Hutatma SFE (hauled by an EMD).
after leaving from there was again stopped at 08:45 at Wakav, for crossing with another legend: Karnataka SFE _/\_
KK was led by twin alcos, of GTL shed.

after leaving from wakav train after a 40 min journey pulled into SUR, where we were greeted by BCNHL freight and SUR-BJP express on opposite platform. on Adjacent PF was a CR train bound to Hyderabad with a white TB (no idea which train it was.) we finally left at 09:40, after which i dozed off :P and eventually reached GR at 11:03

i traveled 6 months back
but as for doubling, PUNE-DD is complete, DD-SUR work has been done quite a lot but not near completion (this is 6 months back, currently work may be close to completion)
electrification in DD-SUR is only in stretches, but you can see OHE masts in quite a few places.
i was sitting on opposite sides of tracks on both...
