Sir, it's not about private zone or something. The inflated amount is collected even in MUE-ADB, MAQ-SKLR-HAS etc
Previously, there used to be inflated rate in KCG-SBC route. Now it's withdrawn.
The extra amount collected would go for the construction company, just like tolls on national highway

Construction cost recover chesukovadaniki ekkuva fare charge chestaru. Instead of creating a separate fare structure just for Konkan ( charge per km or the distance slabs in calculating ticket costs), they use the same fare structure as the rest of the country, while inflating the distance.
It's about private zone. KR has spent huge amount of money in building the network at short notice. There are huge amounts of loaned money to be paid back and hence the KMs are inflated.

Okay, agreed that it's a private zone. But the same inflated amount is collected even in IR too. It's not about KR only. I have given few examples already.
