It is quite surprising that this being such a prestigious and important train in this route runs with only two 3AC coaches. Considering the current coach composition, i guess it already runs with 24 coaches, hence highly unlikely for any further additional coaches.

It would mean scrapping of sl or gs coaches. Moreover it doesn't have a 1A coach also.
Yes agree with you. Purely from revenue perspective, removing a sleeper coach of 72 seats & replacing them with a third ac coach of 64 seats may give railways more income but at the cost of losing 8 seats which they can get in a sleeper coach. So s tricky situation to play around with coach composition.
