Immediate need to start Revenue worthy << Link route>> for IR :-
Bandra -Bhavnagar Express ( 2971 / 2972) is a daily train for Bhavnagar - Bandra T (Mumbai).
There is no direct train for Mahuva from Mumbai.

more... is a 152 kms broad guage line (huge amount spent on guage conversion for its strategic / commercial importance (in the vicinity there are many ports including Pipavav)
Dhola-Bhavnagar is @ 50 kms distance and Dhola-Mahuva (End station) @ 152 kms distance. Dhola is a junction from where train go to this two different routes.
Like Link express - slip route, some bogies, if added to Bhavnagar Express for Mahuva route, it will not only be a boon to those people but will also be a revenue worthy for IRs.
This is in view of the fact that daily around 10-12 private luxury buses and three Gujarat State Transport buses are leaving Mumbai for Mahuva and nearby important places like Una, Diu, Jafrabad, Rajula- Pipavav, Victor Port. Apart, there is a weekly high sea passenger ship ferry service between Mumbai - Jafrabad. (Mahuva is 44-45 kms from Jafrabad).
This further justifies the need for a Link train and high revenue for IRs'.
