• Dhanbad may soon get its demand granted for regularisation of the summer special train, Dhanbad-Anand Vihar-Dhanbad Superfast.
• East Central Railway general manager D.K. Gayen, who arrived in Dhanbad on Thursday hinted that the railways was seriously considering the possibility of regularising the summer special train, which was launched in May to meet the passenger rush during the holiday season.
• Notably, the 20-coach summer special train, which terminated at Anand Vihar (14km away from New Delhi), covered the distance in 21 hours.
