Instead of UDAY Double decker with sitting class during night operation, UDAY coaches may be designed as 5 Tired Berth ,Lower level as usual 3Tier Berth and in the top level additional 2 Tier Berth .

Height of lower deck is lesser than the height of normal single deck, so 3 tier in lower deck is difficult to implement. However 2 tier in both decks which is most likely to be feasible could also give a considerably enhanced passenger berth capacity of DD coach..
