i doubt it. Despite the High court order and DVS being from the same region , nothing was done
Really disgusting, who all are involved in this Bus lobby mafia, almost all departments :-O
The answer is yes. Mangaluru and Bengaluru being a golden route for Bus lobby , they are not willing to sacrifice this corridor at any cost. The two trains to HK (YPR-SUR and YPR-BIDR) has packed many buses away.
Actually in the case of HK there were more private buses than Govt, where IR was able to break it and start new convenient trains. But in the case of Bluru-Mluru it is more kind of Govt(state) vs Govt(center), Ksrtc vs IR(swr). No one is able to break this, hope one day a ray of light will emerge and do some miracle.
Even if NMGA to SBGA is connected, the main problem is the geographical constraint. SBC-KAWR exp reaches MAQ at 8 AM in morning by starting at 20:30 from Majestic.
KSRTC bus to MAQ starts at 22:40 , reaches Hampankatta by 6:30, this is also one of the reasons for the massive success of bus lobby in MAQ-SBC corridor. A train can never compete in terms of speed in MAQ-SBC sector. SWR should focus more on SL class passengers and obviously, removing HMRDA is the need of the hour.
