I have been trying to book a ticket frm KCG to HPT via train 7603 - but it gives an error - Unable To Retrieve Fare Due To Communication Failure.. and when i try to check fare it says selected class does not match destination ( I tried sleeper class)

You r right. Even I am wondering why booking is not being allowed on slip train to Vasco but is allowed on Slip train to Hubli. I think there are some restrictions put by railways.
In both the slip routes, i.e Dhone-Hubli and Dhone-Vasco, stop at Hospet is there.
even between dhone & hubli it has to pass through hospet. the route is PENDEKALLU GUNTAKAL JN BELLARY JN HOSPET JN GADAG JN HUBLI JN

It appears two slip routes on schedule but for practical purposes only one slip route - one shorter route from Dhone to Hubli on some days and same slip route but extended upto Vasco (Dhone-Hubli-Vasco) on some days.
Plz correct me for any inconsistancy.

So Again there is one more query regarding the train
I just checked again for 27/02 it allows to book between KCG and HPT
but for 28/02 it not allows to book while it passes from HPT on both days,
Any one know the reason?
