Had travelled yesterday by this train for first time between UBL SBC.
Train was ONT @UBL, departed 5min late @ 1020pm, loco heading was WDP 4 UBL, Imported one. We reached HVR 3 Min early, which is usually not possible, but due to continuous run and No crossings, could do it.
When I woke up in mid night, train was on JRU ASK double line section, and was really blasting thru the tracks.... almost all crossings between UBL SBC UBL trains are now done in this section, so there was no halt in...

After ASK-Chikjajur section has been doubled, the bottleneck has become Tumakuru-Arsikere section, some of day time express trains take 2.5hrs to cover just 100 odd Kms.
Its high time now that Rani Chenamma should be split into two independent trains ie One as the old Rani Chennamma itself but with least stops between SBC and BGM and an another KSR - Dharwad/Dandeli express so that Hubli/Dharwad people and Belgaum people will get their own dedicated trains
On that day, when I travelled, KSK was not available... it was on tuesday...
Instead of splitting RC, better run BGM YPR EXPRESS...

Travelled in RC yesterday from UBL to SBC, KSK overtook it at Kadur at 3:05AM.
