So Diwali is round the corner and most of the trains are already booked from Bengaluru to interior Karnataka. It is these times which is very woeful for the general public specially for the people of Karnataka as they are made to pay heavily due to festival rush by the bus lobby. This lobby is so strong that SWR is paralyzed to prevent running of special trains to cater for festival rush. Kudos to SWR for acting against the interest of their own state for which it is formed. I am wondering what the SWR officials think about themselves by not being people friendly in most of the projects related to SWR region. Below are the key high lights of the intentional and mischieveous handling of projects by SWR so that it can be delayed infintely to favour the bus mafia and have huge personal gains in doing so. ...

1) MYS-SBC doubling and electrification will take another decade to complete fully though announced back long time.
2) HAS-NMGA new line construction will also take some more years to execute completely. Don't think of doubling and electrification in near future.
3) TK-Miraj electrification doubling. Bhool jjao ise. Yeh is janam mein nahin hoga.
4) SBC officials are making MYS as dumping ground for many long distance trains of SBC. Stupid officials are not thinking of MYA or Ramanagaram which can easily maintain 5 day and 5 night trains provided facilities are provided.
5) Check the availability of pit lines in the entire Karnataka state. Very pitiful.
6) And other doubling and new line projects are hanging beautifully in air.
7) Local train services are not started under the pressure of BMTC volvo buses.
Bus lobby bahut mahan hain Bengaluru mein. Aam aadmi lut raha hain is karan be it for any festivals. But Diwali is big big bonanza for all the bus operators in Bengaluru as it is India's biggest festival.
All the best and kudos for SWR for being so people friendly.

This may sound unpopular but is true.

Bangalore is basically a place for migrants. All trains from north India, TN, AP, Kerala is mainly run for them.

Let them run, I have

no issues with other state people coming here to earn their livelihood but.....
-
1. Shouldn't there be atleast 1 train for Hyderabad-Karnatak region ???? All dependent on inter-state trains with few allocated seats.
2. Shouldn't there be 1 train for coastal Karnataka? Just half a train for them.... The rest the Kerala lobby took with political pressure... even
though they have 16528.
3. As far as Mumbai-Karnatak region is concerned, again few itsy-bitsy trains from Guj, Raj, Mah and a lonely Hampi.

Migration is a reality, but if you try to shaft the native people in favour of migrants then anger builds up.....society collapses...everyone suffers...
This same thing happened to Bombay in 1960s now it will repeat in Bengaluru....
