ED WAP4 22654 entering MAS with 12622 TN Express on 23.10.2015. That's the first view of Chennai I witnessed and today I complete one year on this land.

From the super-clean Pandiyan at MS to the stinking Vivek at CAPE, from the lip smacking breakfast of DQ to a very different biryani at BBS, from the Eastern coast to the Western Ghats, the year has been absolutely amazing in context of RF. I recollect life-long memories of the MAS based RF spread across the last twelve months.

October 2015: First trip to RMM and RF at Pamban, the Mecca of Railfans.
November 2015: Chennai to Goa through the Braganza Ghats and the magnificent Dudhsagar waterfalls. Followed by the ride on MAO-MAQ Superfast Passenger through the lush green KR!
December 2015: Chennai – Palani – Pollachi – Palakkad – Shoranur - Nilambur – Trivandrum – Kanyakumari – Mangaluru – Hassan – Bagalkote – Solapur – Chennai. Nuff said about the most amazing RF experience of my life.
January 2016: Short trip to MYS and back. First ride on the first SR Shatabdi.
February 2016: None.
March 2016: First ride on the much famed ripper of MAS-CBE section, TVC Mail to VAK.
April 2016: Second trip to VAK. (In pic: A kinda poor video snapshot of TVC Super AC overtaking MAS TVC SF)
May 2016: Stepping into ECoR territory with what a fellow RF called a ‘scary’ chain; MAS-BBS-VZM-VBL-SALR-VBL-ARK-VSKP-COA-BZA-MAS. Araku Valley. First railbus ride.
June 2016: Nilagiri Mountain Railways. For the third time in my life.
July 2016: Delhi round trip with SR’s Garib Rath one way and SR’s ever delayed Duronto in return.
August 2016: Pandiyan. Madurai. Kodaikanal Road. Velankanni. Mainline. The truly Tamil RF experience.
September 2016: None.
October 2016: In a first, Stepped in Mumbai cutting through the Bhor Ghats. First on the Deccan Queen accompanied with a ride on the fastest Garib Rath.
