The train route is Surat - Vasai Road - Panvel -Madgaon and Vashi is on different route. Vashi Rly station is on the Mumbai Local train Networ and no long distance train passes through Vashi.

the train doesnt touch vashi station. it touchs panvel station and u can get down and change for vashi stn( which is in the mumbai suburban harbour line ) it is 4th or 5 th station from panvel and takes about half an hour to reach there by suberban train.

I think you are mentioning about Vasai Road stn instead of vashi road.This train has no official stop over there,but has a technical stop for 5mnts usually i have noticed to change of engine driver.
