GC work at a higher pace. SOY NIR to complete by this December and NIR BTC by December 2017. JBP G route to begin operations by March 2018.

Good to see the time to time inspection by SECR ofcls on SOY-BTC route and this will boost the pace of work of BG b/w SOY-NIR-BTC as the contractor will be knowing that work shud be completed within given time and inspections will conducted in the future also so he will increase the pace of work so that ofcls cannot blame him for any delay so a good news for people waiting to see the full BG section of JBP-BTC and hopefully by early 2018 we can see the BG action on these sections and any news regarding JBP-SOY-NIR-BTC electrification work becoz tender is already been awarded so work of efication b/w KEQ-NIR-BTC shud be done in parallel to BG...

That's really a great news. Eager to see JBP-SOY pass to extend to NIR and I think it'll get way more patronage than what it gets now.
yea, patronage must be low in SOY passenger currently. Opening of BG line till NIR will see much passenger trains alike G BTC section
