You can exchange at post office and nearest banks and get ₹100/- denomination also present ₹500/- & ₹1000 notes are taken at govt hospitals(only govt hospitals) , in banks ,in post office , railway stations and other govt organised offices. If you are changing it you may show valid proof of identity viz AADHAR,PAN etc at only in banks and in post office. There is limit for taking money in ATM I.e., ₹10,000/- per day and ₹20,000/- per week.
