The point by point description of MG/BG conversion & its utility post independence has been meticulously compiled here. Its heartening to realize that the present RM is impartial in allocating funds to the remaining isolated MG stretches of IR for much needed connectivity & creation of alternate routes for already congested BG network...
Project unigauge, which started in 1990s under RM CK Jafer Sharief, will be remembered as a good political decision overall. Even if its main beneficiary were Karnataka & Rajasthan at that...
