Anybody have any idea about Indian Railways new E-ticketing portal? Yesterday I opened my account with that portal and received one e-mail from the site for verification of both E-mail and mobile No. given in my account and verified both by me. My problem is I could not able to login into my account, every time I attempt to login to my account a message "Login Failed" appears in the screen. Also I tried with "Forget Password", then the message is "you are not registered". Anybody in this forum enrolled in this portal and made any booking?? Please give your knowledge on this. I called the helpline No. provided in the website and told them about my problem, but they are not able to give me a proper reply to my query and told me again register with this site. I think in this site unauthentic registration is not possible...

As it says "you are not registered" it means you have to register again.
Try with same mobile no. once again

If your registration is complete , after filling up 'registraion form' followed by email, and SMS. then you can only wait for IR severs to regain 'balnce' which is hung due to rush.
I have got registered in early morning time. And then I was happy to look all around the site. but to my dismay, after an hour, I faced similar troubles, and message like 'your session expired'. At one stage I got just 'loading loading and waiting' only.
So retry your logging in if you are registered in 'non-peak' time.

Mr. Kishor then how we can book our tickets from this site when the booking counters open on 8 am for booking, and what is the special feature/difference this portal having in comparison with its counterpart irctc.co.in.
the registration codes you get through your mail is only valid for 24 hours. similar is for mobile no.
the process runs like this - you register your name, email, mobile etc and wait for email and mobile verification code to to come. Once you get email, you have to access from the email directly in the link provided. a message - email verified' and a box for mobile verification code appears. once your mobile number is verified, another box with various characters appear. you have to type the characters as seen in the box (capital letter, number, small letter). once that is accepted, message is displayed - registration successful. then only you can access the portal. ...

Dear Friend, I have again registered with this portal with a different Login ID and given the same E-mail address, mobile No. and land line No. as given in the first registration. One E-mail was sent by Indian railway, but I could not open that mail so that I could not verify my Email & mobile Nos in the second registration. Now again I can register with this portal or not.
