Then you must ask for your official or local language to be included in IRI too. Surely more the better for visitors using the website.
-
I have nothing against Hindi. Having lived in Bilaspur and having stayed in Uttarakhand for long intermittent periods, I am fond of the different dialects of Hindi.
-
But

you need to understand, that this website though owned by a single person is a collective effort of all members of different languages. By blanking out regional languages you will hurt others sentiments.
-
If your language is not included, then you can make a case out of it.
But here you do have the language you want.
You additionally simply want to blank out other languages. Rather than creating new, you want to destroy something that exists already. Isn't that wrong?
-
Imagine all the Hindi members taking up this cause and blanking out regional languages of many trains that originate or pass through Hindi states. What would be the end result? What if regional language members start pushing back asking for the trains belonging to their zones have their language and blank out Hindi?
-
As stated above wont the visitors to this site be affected?

While your reason behind asking the removal of the name is quite understandable, Karthik sir also has a valid point.
The inclusion of the regional name is mainly for people who actually use this website for planning their travel and getting more details about the train they are traveling. It will definitely be a problem for many of those users. Having the regional name is mainly for utility and should not be considered as an opinion on the language or the region.

We, rail fans have many more important things to take pride in. Like the famous trains from our respective places, the scenic locations and our home zones. Let's enjoy those and not take offense to trivial things like these.

I will not vote anything. Instead I have a different opinion. Let us take example of Ahmedabad Chennai Express. It must have its regional name in its source and destination regional languages. I mean it must have its name in Gujarati/Tamil (Both languages separated by "/"). Also, this rule must be followed for the train in both directions. So the confusion would never arise. Also, in states like Rajasthan, MP, HP, since Hindi is already written, no need to write Hindi again. Only one regional language is enough. Example, Ajmer Mysore Exp can have regional language written in Kannada only. #moderator sir please kindly note it.
