Unfortunately, the allocation for gauge conversion has gone down in this year's rly budget and no fund could be allocated for this project.
With a lot of funds still required for important Rajasthan gc projects like Jaipur-Ringus-Churu & Sikar-Loharu (320.04 km), Udaipur-Ahmedabad, generous allocation to this project look difficult for 2018-19 budget too.
