Quite interesting! But there are quite a lot of stations whose codes inexplicably end in 'X','Z','F' or 'Q'. Most of these stations probably got these letters as a filler as other alternatives were filled up. Like Kavali ( KVZ), Chirala ( CLX), Charlapalli ( CHZ), Tadipatri ( TU) , Tandavapura ( TXR) etc.
Kadapa is an exception though. It was spelled as Cuddapah until the early 2000's. Even the railway staff there had no clue as to why the station has the code 'HX'. An RTI by some member earlier also received a negative response that the authorities had no information on this!
