Isn't the "lowest class" one of the biggest reason behind this special pricing system?
Exactly. Even in sleeper class, I personally have seen quite a few occasions unmanned coaches and TTE has never checked the tickets right from boarding point to destination. Not sure how they plan to do it in overcrowded general coaches, when railways themselves are grappling with less manpower.
On a lighter note, maybe do they want people to move to these trains since there is no checking , thereby automatically reducing load in the express trains in those same routes !!!

Why would people want to take such trains that cost you more and do not provide reservation? There is a possibility that before increasing prices for all regular trains or introducing dynamic prices throughout, they might be checking that whether such tactics are unsuccessful or not in the "hyped trains" like Humsafar and Antyodaya etc.

because of timings and intermediate passengers have not good connection on that time this (TATA LTT and return) have great times in between TATA-DURG-NGP connection most of General Passengers suffer this route due to lack of GS class train and they have to opt fully crowded Geetanjali, Mumbai Mail to travel upto Nagpur, Myself suffered most of times, and if i am paid 15% more but comfortable ride in Antyodaya i will prefer as it starts my Second Home place TATA so seat occupation is not a big deal, also reach Birth Place DURG on Morning 7AM arround so i considered this connection to be great over Mumbai Mail & Geetanjali.
