Their is a limit to every thing, for the sake of compensating loss from Passenger segment Railways regularly increased the freight tariffs and now it's among the highest in the world bcoz of which Business Houses & traders moved towards Road Transportation. Now Suresh Prabhu is Doing the same thing with Passenger segment too, for Compensating the loss from Sub-urban, Unreserved and Sleeper class subsidized ticket fares AC class fare has been increased indirectly by bringing this Surge Pricing/Dynamic pricing or by applying some weird cess but passengers aren't that much ignorant as the Railway thinks. now, they are opting for Air travel in Budget Airlines or luxury Bus service for Short distance journeys bcoz of which despite the increment in no. of people traveling in train the OR of passenger segment has increased a lot too.
