also if kurnool halt was there for 22693, then demand for continuing atleast for one day per week was good.
now ananthapur, guntakal, dharmavaram, raichur will benefit.
sedam was added because one former minister of state for railways was elected from there. it just a small town....

Welcome move of daily rajdhani in one route... Yes ... wondered what the hell 'Sedam' station is there which I never heard of in big town list .. Yes Heard of Yadgir as major town ... tks for sharing info that was because of minister... worst politics...
I think Guwahati Rajdhani also goes in two routes... Needed to run in one route... second route can used for another premium super fast new train ...
One of the biggest dilemma for rajdhani class is stop at sedam ,already it's stopping at sspn,dmm,ATP,Gtl,RC rajdhani class must be maintained for its limited stop type in future there will be demand by kurnool to provide stop at Mantralayam because it's water filling and tourism place and even adoni. I think sedam stop must be done away to stop some more stops asking
Yes , instead of Sedam , Yadgir would have been better for GR ppl , it will be like premium connectivity to SBC .
