TheDarkLord~ 10265 blog postsFrom March 2016 to Jan 2017, RCF has delivered 120 LHB coaches to Bangladesh Railways.As It was decided, RCF got approx INR 370 Cr. for these coaches. Per coach cost of a LHB coach is around 2.5 Crore so the Manufacturing cost of all these caches would be around INR 300 Cr, so that deal resulted in a profit of around 70 Crores for RCF and IR.

Almost all A class trains are already lhbfied, other express and passenger trains are mostly loss making white elephants, so they can wait for sometime and run on icf, currently railways should focus mainly on exports for big profits to compensate for loss making passenger traffic .
