May_I_have_your_atte~ 2863 blog postsA station can be upgraded to A1 station if it genaretes annual revenue of 60crore or more. So according to this criteria, BARDHAMAN, MALDAH TOWN and KOLKATA TERMINUS should be upgraded to A1 station as early as possible. What do u all say??????

No bro u have just told the opposite situation....... BWN has less number of trains (147) as compared to DHN (186) [also in terms of no of passing trains , BWN=62, DHN=106]. Also avg pax in DHN per day is 3times greater than that of BWN still BWN gets 4crore more revenue than DHN.....So according to your 1st point BWN should have been upgraded b4 DHN by IR
But I agree with your 2nd point. ER prefers ASN over BWN due to its position as BWN is quite close and well connected with HWH......Also ASN serves for many adjoing districts also
