Kya ker sakte hai, India me middle class ki koi nahi sunta. Middle class road pe utad k kisi ka putla nahi phoonkta na kisi party ka vote bank hai to har taraf isi ko maara jata hai. UR, Sub-urban or Sleeper class se ho rahe loss ko compensate karne k liye ye Dynamic pricing , flexi fare and all that ko implement kiya gaya hai.
Exactly. Once a Railways expert was stating on a TV news debate that in the past 15-20 years its only the AC passengers (1st, 2nd, 3rd,CC) who have been bearing the brunt of Ticket Fare Hike while General and Sleeper Class passengers were untouched due to Vote Bank Politics! Hum Madhyam Vargyi log kya bali ka bakra hain kya ? :'(
Yes, Middle class matlab bali ka bakra. Direct tax do,indirect tax do, Service charge do or uske baad Cess bhi chukao or hume milta hai neel bate sannata.
Hume milta hain Gas cylinder ke badte daam, diesel-petrol ke badte daam, etc. Aane wale Tuesday ko Private Bus operators bhi Ticket Fare Hike ke liye Kolkata main bus strike ke mood main hain. Ab Patna Rajdhani main bhi loot paat Main Line par ho gayi... hadd hain !!!
In fact Rajdhanis mein bhi usually middle class log travel karte hai 3rd AC mein. But government didnot hesitate in justifying surge pricing by saying that "only those who can pay" will bear the burden of surge pricing. Saw an interview of SUresh Prabhu by Quint. When asked about underbooking of Rajdhani, he just played the victim card that how railway deserves money from passenger segment but smartly avoided the "underbooking" issue! After all he is a politician!
